Core Trucking commissioned Sign-Express to build and install a new building logo lighted sign for their warehouse in La Porte, Texas.  The owner and operator of Core Trucking worked with the Sign-Express business development team to create a building sign to match their existing company logo.  The final design decision landed with a 13′ x 22′ reverse lighted aluminum channel letters set on a black backer panel.  This will create a brilliant glow around the letters at night and frame the logo in light.  During the day, the building logo sign is an exact representation of the company’s logo for all the passersby on the freeway to see.  Production of the aluminum channel letters begins with a CNC cut of the large letter faces and then channel bending of the 3″ letter returns.  A larger letter backer is created with a 1″x1″ square tubing frame to strengthen it and have a ridged mounting frame for the large letters.  Then acrylic is installed inside the letters which will allow the LED lights to be mounted and allow the light to pass through for illumination.
