Dallas Christian College School Sign

Dallas Christian College contacted Sign-Express to provide them with a replacement school sign monument.  They wanted to improve their ability to speak to the students and faculty entering the campus.  Sign-Express completed a thorough sign code review before the sale.  Due to the restrictive school sign code in their area, they would only be allowed a 6′ overall height monument type sign, and the LED display would need to be at or less than 40% of the total signage.  In many areas where schools reside, they are near a residential neighborhood and the code can be quite restrictive.

Several school sign renderings were created in the process of permitting to meet the strict codes.  The final solution is a routed push-through face, internally lighted, with the LED positioned right of the exiting stone column left from the original signage.  As you can see from the photos below, the results were spectacular.  The LED sign is large enough to show readable messages to the passing driveway traffic.  The college can easily display game times, events, class information, and registration times to their students and faculty.
