Freddy’s, a popular lunch destination for local business, had only a small amount of vinyl on a 3′ x 5′ section of their window. The next four business suites had no vinyl on their windows, save a small sticker for a Church supply company and absolutely no elevated signage to identify their business. We could not believe what we were seeing!
We decided to introduce ourselves and pass out some business cards to our new neighbors recently and inform them we could produce them a sign for their business in a 3′ x 10′ size. We are now producing two more business signs in addition to our outdoor business sign for our location. Once we install our new sign along with our two neighbors’ new business signs, I’m sure the other businesses will quickly follow suit. It is not a large expense, the non-illuminated aluminum with applied vinyl sign will cost less than $1,000 including the installation. The benefit of having your business clear identifiable cannot be measure in dollars, but if you were to try, it would far exceed a $1,000.
It is so easy to get caught up in working your business and forget about your business image right outside your building. Make it easy for your clients and potential clients to identify your business as they drive by your location. Your business sign should be up high and clear of any obstructions, while clearly identifying your business and services. If you have an abundance of glass and windows you should also have window vinyl to identify your entrance and hours of operation.
